I believe everyone needs a mirror to see what they do and a soundboard to hear their story in someone else's. As a social designer my main topic is mental health. Within this topic I am especially fascinated by the dysfunctional patterns in me as an individual and in my surroundings.
Nowadays when I look around the world I see a lot of improvement on the part of self help, but I also see a lot of mixed messages, difficulty in being who you are, having your own opinion and living life on life's terms.
What drives me mostly is my own recovery journey. I am a recovering addict with autism and a personality disorder. During my journey I discovered that there are several things that are of the utmost importance to me: connection, love, a safe space and the feeling that you are welcome. I needed this in order to understand myself better and to make peace with being me.
It is my goal to bring others these things.
In the hope that it will help them find their way. Wherever that may be.
